Join us for the HOUR Exchange FOURTH Annual Winter Celebration. The celebration will feature Locally crafted one-of-a-kind gifts and entertainment throughout the afternoon including Staff & Poi Dancing by Fireality, musical performances by Debo, Karen Jean, Cassandra Robertson, The Dancing Moon Orchestra, and the Honey Creek String Band, and a spectacular baked goodies sale and drawing to benefit the HOUR Exchange. Activities for kids include crafts, coloring contest, and “pick a cracker!?. This is a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.

Join us for our Spring Gathering & Annual Meeting this March 22. We will celebrate with a Spring HOUR Trader Marketplace, media swap, and a community potluck. The spring is a good time for the Garden Exchange. Plan ahead and bring seeds, starts, bulbs, plants, and other items for exchange.
The spring is our time of renewal and when we hold our Annual Meeting. Members are encouraged to attend and will have the opportunity to offer comments and opinions during a facilitated vision sharing, hear the HOUR Exchange Annual Report, and elect fellow members for the 2008-2009 Board of Trustees. Stick around and be in the commemorative photo of the members at the event, and we will celebrate our 5-year members and present them with a gift as a thank you for their continued support. Mark your calendar now and plan to be attend. It will be a fun celebration not to be missed!

Spring Gathering & Annual Meeting

Join us for our Spring Gathering & Annual Meeting this Saturday, March 22, from 11am-2pm, at the McLean Room at 101 NW 23rd Street (23rd & Monroe). We will celebrate with a Spring HOUR Trader Marketplace, media swap, and a community potluck. The spring is a good time for the Garden Exchange. Plan ahead and bring seeds, starts, bulbs, plants, and other items for exchange.

Join the HOUR Traders for their Winter Celebration Sunday, December 10, from 12-3 PM at the Old World Deli, 341 SW 2nd Street in Corvallis.

Join us for a fun-filled day of activities, music, and entertainment. Our quarterly HOUR Traders Marketplace will be a great place to find the perfect locally-crafted holiday gift this season and meet the folks who trade HOURS . Pass on through, come for one act, or stay for the entire afternoon!

During the celebration we will be holding our Annual silent auction – be sure to check out and place a bid on some of the wonderful contributed items and gift baskets. Also, drop by our “Baked Goodies” sale and choose for a great selection of delicious treats. All proceeds raised will go to our organization and holding more fun future events!

Harvest Gathering

You are invited to the HOUR Exchange’s Annual Harvest Gathering Thursday, September 20, from 6-9 PM in the McLean Room at 101 NW 23rd Street, in Corvallis. It will be a fun filled evening. Please join us!

The Harvest Potluck will start at 6pm. Bring salads, entrees, and desserts to share. Please bring your own service ware.

The HOUR Traders Marketplace will be from 5-9 PM. You are encouraged to bring your garden harvest, HOURS, or other items to trade. This is a good time to network with others so you may also wish to bring along business cards or samples of your work. Table space will be available on a first-come basis.

Join us this September 20 for our Annual Harvest Gathering & Potluck Dinner from 6-9pm, in the McLean Room at 101 NW 23rd Street in Corvallis. Our quarterly gatherings are a great place to meet others who are a part of the HOUR Traders network and see first-hand some of the wonderful offerings that are available in exchange for HOURS.
This Fall we invite you to join us for an open mike: music, spoken word, dance, juggling, vaudeville, firewater demonstration, cat rustling, anything goes (well, just about anything). Bring your talents and join us for some fun.
We’ll set the stage for the HOUR Traders Marketplace. Members are welcome to bring along items for trade. If you would like to reserve a table space, please do so early. Space is limited and we will fill up.

LOCAL CURRENCY FOLK FESTIVAL & SIXTH ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC

Mark your calendars and be sure to join us for an early start to summer at our sixth annual summer picnic, Sunday, June 10, from 1-5pm at the Thompson Shelter at Avery Park in Corvallis. We have a fun filled event planned for you this year of music, activities, community, and fun. Everyone is welcome.
This event is free of charge and open to all, but we are requesting donations to help us pay for the rising costs we’ve encountered this year using the city park.
The fun starts at 1pm! Here are a couple of reminders to make your afternoon and evening more enjoyable.

Join us for our five-year celebration of trading local currency on Saturday, March 17, from 11:30-4pm. We will celebrate with an afternoon of trades, music, activities, and our annual membership meeting. Some of the planned activities include our Spring HOUR Trader Marketplace (Gardeners are encouraged to bring seeds, starts, bulbs, plants, and other items for exchange), a media swap (bring DVDs, VHS tapes, CDs for trade), and a community potluck.
During the Annual Meeting members will have the opportunity to offer comments and opinions in a facilitated vision sharing, hear the HOUR Exchange Annual Report, and will elect fellow members to the Board of Trustees.

Join us this September as we tastefully welcome the Fall season with an HOUR Trader gathering and fundraiser dinner. The dinner will feature a specialty of pasta including handmade ravioli, pasta con fungi, and lasagna ~ prepared using local ingredients! Dinners will be sold on a sliding scale and funds will benefit the HOURS program & the printing of the newspaper.

As always, the HOUR Traders will be the centerpiece of the gathering. Bring handmade goods, products, garden produce, and other items for trade. Don’t forget your HOURS! We welcome everyone to join us at our quarterly events and learn more about this unique community network. Mark your calendars now. Enjoy a wonderful meal and help support the HOUR Exchange.
