The deadline for new member listings, renewing member listings, articles, and display ads in the SUMMER 2008 HOUR Trader is June 1, 2008.

Short articles and items of interest are welcome.

To become member click "membership" >> "How to Join" link on this website, or pick up a copy of the HOUR Trader, available for free at locations in Corvallis. The HOUR Trader is regularly stocked at the Corvallis Public Library and First Alternative South Store.

The HOURS disbursement committee every six weeks to disburse HOURS to new and renewing members. Members at large are welcome and encouraged to help on this committee.

Late Fall disbursement: December 3, 6pm, Upstairs Meeting Room, Corvallis Public Library.

LOCAL CURRENCY FOLK FESTIVAL & FOURTH ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC

Our much anticipated Summer Picnic will be held June 11 from 2PM-dusk nestled under the big trees at the Lions Shelter in Avery Park. We have a fun filled event planned for you this year, and here are a couple of reminders to make your afternoon and evening more enjoyable.

o Bring along a blanket or folding chair to sit on and enjoy the music.
o Please bring your own service-ware and utensils for the potluck.
o We will provide the placards for you to identify your dish. This will be helpful for those who have dietary restrictions.
